Limited five vinyl LP box set. Contains 42 highlights from the 10cd Woodstock 50 û Back To The Garden: The Anniversary Collection. Producer Andy Zax says he, sound producer Brian Kehew and mastering engineer Dave Schultz avoided interfering with the tapes as much as possible in order to preserve their authenticity. ôItÆs not surprising that other producersÆ first reaction to these tapes over the years has been æuh-oh,Æ immediately followed by æweÆve gotta find a way to fix this.Æ I'm not unsympathetic to that approach, but if there's a single overriding lesson that Brian Kehew and I have learned since we began working with the Woodstock tapes in 2005, itÆs this: you can't fix themà ThatÆs less grim than it seems, because once youÆve accepted the idea that there is no way to make these recordings sound slick, you realize that these tapes are the sonic equivalent of heirloom tomatoes ù slightly imperfect, but delicious.ö

Death in Vegas - Dead Elvis
Sent In By: Chris on 27 March 2024I have been searching for this on vinyl for a while. So glad I came across it at Discrepancy Records. The LP arrived in good time and well packaged. Always easy and a pleasure dealing with Discrepancy Records. Thank you.
Best Of The Corrs
Sent In By: Peter on 25 March 2024Best Of The Corrs on gold vinyl is a great double album of hits. Discrepancy Records did a great job in dispatching the order quickly and also very securely packing packing the album. It is important to note the LPs were in their own separate liner external to the sleeve so there is no damage to the edges of the sleeve by the records during transit. I have ordered two more albums (one is the Dark Side Of The Moon laser picture disc preorder)and I look forward to purchasing many more albums in the future :-)
