Superb album
By: Graham Lewis on 16 June 2021What a concert this album showcases. The opening sequence and slow build up setting the stage for an awesome final concert, Black Sabbath has given a superb compilation of songs that showcases their early work as well as their later work. Ozzie's vocals are dark and deep and really compliments each track superbly. Geezer Butler really blends well and compliments the lead guitar of Tony Iommi, Tommy Clefetus sets the beat, superbly backed by Rick Wakeman on keyboard and guitar. They gelled so well and presented a superb album that shows just how much better they are live. Some tracks have some additions that just cannot be put on a studio produced album, improvisation that highlight just how good each member playing and instrument is. If you love bass guitar you will truly enjoy this album as it is strong and very powerful. Tony Iommi shows just how superbly he plays lead guitar, especially on the last two tracks, Children of the grave and Paranoid. The album was produced well and there are no issues with the sound quality, no heavy compression that will destroy much of the music. Overall this is an album that any die hard Black Sabbath fans will want to add to their collection. Every track blends well with the next track and gives the listener a very enjoyable listen.
