Welcome back everyone. We've got some amazing titles to talk about today - like usual!!!

50 years ago, David Bowie retired his Ziggy Stardust persona during a stunning live performance at London's Hammersmith Odeon. The performance - which went on to be released in the 80's as Ziggy Stadust and the Spiders From Mars: The Motion Picture Soundtrack - was a live recording that captured an artist in their prime and perfectl encapsulated what made the Glam Rock movement of the early 70's so special.

This year, we are being treated with a very special anniversary edition of the album. Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars: The Motion Picture is being released as a double LP on stunning gold vinyl. All tracks have been remixed and mastered by longtime Bowie collaborator, Tony Visconti, and extra tracks not included in the original release are now present. These include Round And Round and The Jean Genie/Love Me Do. Furthermore, the legendary - and dearly missed - guitarist Jeff Beck will also be heard jamming on these two previously unreleased tracks.

Oh, and of course there will also be a Blu-Ray release, as the concert was filmed by the renowned filmmaker, D.A. Pennebaker. All footage has been given a high definition upgrade and the audio has been remixed in DTS 5.1, as well as in PCM Stereo. The Blu-Ray will also include 2 CDs featuring the soundtrack - perfect for those long car trips :)

And that's not the only anniversary edition of a live album this year, as Black Sabbath's Live Evil is hitting our shelves for its 40th b'day. The 4 LP box set will be featuring a brand new remix of the audio produced by Wyn Davis, as well as the original mix with a new remaster. There will also be included such goodies as:

It's safe to say that we can all agree that the pandemic sucked. Lockdown even more so. However, if there is one nice thing that has come out of it, it is the output of artists who had nothing else to do during the time except do what. they do best: create amazing music. Such is the case of Roger Waters' The Lockdown Sessions.

This LP includes 5 tracks from Waters' solo career and his Pink Floyd days, carefully re-arranged and re-recorded at his home between 2020 and 2021. Included as an bonus track on the album is Comfortably Numb 2022 - a new version of the Pink Floyd classic which was re-recorded during Waters' This Is Not A Drill U.S. tour.
