There are iconic album, and there are iconic albums.

And then there is Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.

Certified Platinum 21 times in the US, and 14 times in the UK, Rumours has gone on to be one of the greatest-selling albums of all time - and certainly remains are contant seller at Discrepancy! And although there have been a myriad of special editions and alternate versions released over the years, there are still musical gems associated with Fleetwood Mac's 11th studio album that have not seen the light of day... until now!

Rumours Live contains 18 tracks (only 1 of which has previously been released) recorded during the band's performance at Los Angeles' The Forum on 29th August 1977.

As mentioned previously, 1 track from the performance (Gold Dust Woman) was previously released as a bonus track on the 2021 deluxe edition of Live. The rest of the tracks (which come in at nearly 90 minutes) make their debut on this (soon-to-be) sought-after Fleetwood Mac record.

Fleetwood Mac Rumours Live will be released as a double clear vinyl set and is available to pre-order HERE.

Released in 1971, Who's Next was The Who's 5th studio album. It was a musical journey, setting out on the epic Baba O'Riley and culminating in the operatic Won't Get Fooled Again - all of it wrapped in a (quite literal) urine-stained cover. Although 2021 would have been the actual 50th anniversary, due to the backlog of released delayed because of the pandemic, we will be getting the upcoming 50th anniversary special release this year. But when the special releases look as good as this one, what's a couple of years, give or take?

This special anniversary edition of Who's Next has been given the half-speed master treatment by legendary album producer Jon Astley, as well as cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.

The Who Who's Next 50th anniversary edition is available to pre-order HERE.

This year also sees the 50th anniversary celebrations for Pink Floyd's The Dark Side Of The Moon (and it's not 2 years late like Who's Next). To join in the celebrations, original Pink Floyd member, Roger Waters, is releasing his re-working of the album.

The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux features all the tracks from the original album stipped down and re-recorded in an attempt to (in Waters' words): "pay tribute to the original work, and also re-address the political and emotional message of the whole album."

Waters goes on to explain that the idea for re-working Dark Side came during lockdown when he was in the midst of recording stripped down versions of other Pink Floyd songs for his Lockdown Sessions album.

"It’s not a replacement for the original which, obviously, is irreplaceable," Waters explains. "But it is a way for the seventy nine year old man to look back across the intervening fifty years into the eyes of the twenty nine year old and say, to quote a poem of mine about my Father, 'We did our best, we kept his trust, our Dad would have been proud of us'. And also it is a way for me to honor a recording that Nick and Rick and Dave and I have every right to be very proud of."

Roger Waters The Dark Side Of The Moon Redux 2 LP is available to pre-order HERE.

It will also be released in a transparent blue edition that is available to pre-order HERE.
