Limited double 180gm vinyl LP pressing in gatefold jacket. Remastered from the original analogue tapes by James Guthrie, Joel Plante, and Bernie Grundman. The Wall is the 11th studio album by Pink Floyd, originally released in November 1979. It is the last studio album released with the line-up of guitarist David Gilmour, bass guitarist/lyricist Roger Waters, keyboardist Richard Wright, and drummer Nick Mason before Wright left the band. As with Pink Floyd's prior three albums, The Wall is a concept album, exploring themes of abandonment and personal isolation. It is a rock opera that follows Pink, a character whom Waters modelled after himself and the band's original leader, Syd Barrett. Waters conceived the album during Pink Floyd's 1977 In the Flesh Tour, when his frustration with the audience became so acute that he imagined a wall between the audience and the stage. The album was one of the best-selling of 1980, and by 1999 it had sold over 23 million RIAA-certified units, making it the third highest certified album in the United States.

Pink Floyd The Wall.
By: Steve Warburton on 14 October 2021I have Pink Floyd's Dark Side, Wish you were here, Animals, Meddle etc on original vinyl, but I hadn't bought The Wall on vinyl when it first came out because my brother got it first. So I bought it on CD. As I'm getting a new turntable, I thought it was time to get it for the collection. Dealing with Discrepancy was brilliant. Great price, Easy to order and pay for and postage was quick and well wrapped. They are now my go-to for vinyl listening. Thank you.

Variety of opinions
By: Allan on 17 May 2021Music tastes are really odd and very individual. This is some people's favourite Pink Floyd album, but it is not in my top ten Floyd records. I think the lyrics get bogged in Roger Water's neuroses and I never liked the single. Thank heavens for 'Wish you were here', 'Meddle', and even the angry, edgy 'Animals'. PS. If there is anyone like me who doesn't like being a brick in the wall, try Water's solo version 'The Wall Live In Berlin'. The guest artists make it SO much more interesting.

Maya Jane Coles - Take Flight 3LP box set
Sent In By: Dave on 24 April 2024Well priced and super quick dispatch. Arrived in a sturdy mailer, complete with an oversized outer jacket for the box set, which saved me having to source that separately, and one inner sleeve. Although three inner sleeves would have been perfect (since there were 3 LPs) it was still much appreciated. Not many Sellers include either of those accessories. So all told, a very positive buying experience. Recommended, and i will be buying more LPs in future.
