Welcome back everyone!

Last week we focused on the upcoming 30th anniversary box set of Green Day's Dookie (which you can see HERE), however the box set will not be the only celebratory release. We will also be getting a special release of the Dookie LP, pressed on adorable 'baby blue' coloured vinyl.

A brand new Creedence Clearwater Revival compilation is on its way - and this one is exclusive to Australia!

Creedence Clearwater Revival The Ultimate Collection: Australian Exclusive is a 24 track collection spread over 2 LPs. It's release this September celebrates the wonderful relationship between Creedence and Australia. The band has always had a strong presence in the country, and it is a fact that their 5th studio album, Cosmo's Factory, spent no less than 19 weeks on the Australian Charts.

Including in this collection are Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, The Midnight Special, Proud Mary, Lookin' Out My Back Door... and so many other instant classic songs - all pressed on clear vinyl!

And if you still want more classic rock compilation releases...

The Rolling Stones Forty Licks has just been given a brand new vinyl release.

Originally released in 2002 for the band's 40th anniversary, Forty Licks sold over 7 million copies and is widely regarded as their definitive career-spanning compilation. This new version is pressed over 4 LPs and packaged inside a wide-spinned gatefold sleeve.

And lastly today: Devo!

Art Devo is a 3 LP & 7" box set collecting a myriad of unheard and obscure tracks sourced directly from the Devo vaults. This collection aims to take the listener from the band’s initial conception in 1973, right to their initial discovery in 1977. During those years, Devo would transform from an art project, pop art in the literal sense, into the group David Bowie would declare “the band of the future”.

This box set has been curated by the surviving members of the band, and included within it are early versions, demos, alternate takes and never-before-heard live recordings. All of it comes housed in a gold-foiled archive box, and contains a set of Double sided art cards - including a Scratch ‘N’ Sniff image. Plus liner notes by Mark Mothersbaugh and Gerald V Casale.
