Garbage

An American band with a Scottish singer, Garbage formed in 1994 and had immediate success with their debut release. The self-titled album was loved by critics and punters alike, selling over four million copies. Over the three decades since, the line-up of Garbage has been stable and successful, releasing seven albums and touring regularly. They are also in that elite group of artists who have recorded a 'Bond' song for the long-running spy adventure film series, though as Shirley Manson ruefully remarked, theirs attracted more than its share of criticism. That has not deterred the band, who released studio album No Gods No Masters in 2021 and an anthology of their best work in 2022.
