Groove Armada

Groove Armada is a British electronic music duo formed in 1996, consisting of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay. Known for their eclectic mix of genres, they blend elements of house, disco, funk, and soul, creating a unique and accessible sound. Their debut album, Northern Star (1998), gained critical attention, but it was their 2001 album, Vertigo, that brought them widespread recognition, with hits like "Superstylin’" and "I See You Baby." These tracks became staples in dance clubs and helped establish Groove Armada as key players in the electronic music scene.

Groove Armada is also celebrated for their live performances, often incorporating live instrumentation into their DJ sets. Over the years, they have experimented with various sounds, collaborating with artists like Bryan Ferry, Jarvis Cocker, and Neneh Cherry. The duo's ability to fuse dance music with other genres has kept their sound fresh, and they remain influential figures in the global electronic music landscape.
