Toto

Toto, an American rock band, was formed in Los Angeles in 1977 by a group of talented session musicians. The band's original lineup included David Paich (keyboards, vocals), Steve Lukather (guitar, vocals), Bobby Kimball (vocals), Steve Porcaro (keyboards), David Hungate (bass), and Jeff Porcaro (drums). Over the years, Toto's lineup has undergone several changes, but the core members have continued to create music together.

Toto's unique sound blends elements of rock, pop, jazz, and progressive music, making them one of the most versatile bands of their time. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1978, featured the hit single "Hold the Line." However, it was their fourth album, "Toto IV" (1982), that truly catapulted them to international stardom, with timeless classics like "Africa" and "Rosanna."
