| Title: | Daft Punk Random Access Memories |
Random Access Memories is the fourth studio album by French electronic duo Daft Punk, released on 17 May 2013 through Columbia Records. The album pays tribute to late 1970s and early 1980s American music, particularly from Los Angeles. This theme is reflected in the album's packaging, as well as its promotional campaign, which included billboards, television advertisements, and a web series. Recording took place at Henson, Conway and Capitol Studios in California, Electric Lady Studios in New York City, and Gang Recording Studio in Paris, France. Random Access Memories was the duo's final album before they split up in February 2021.

Daft Punk Random Access Memories
By: John on 13 September 2023Another brilliant piece of electronica that is just getting better with age… great team, great album, great company to work with, had the odd record arrive warped or out of shape and returned & flattened without a problem or complaint all covered by their guarantee. I cannot recommend them highly enough, it’s where I go for my vinyl…

Daft Punk
By: David Asher on 2 March 2021Great double LP that sounds fantastic, buying from Discrepancy Records is just so easy and they have a great selection of records and products. So glad I picked up this album. Shame that the group has now split up, hope they re-release all their albums.

Daft Punk's Million Dollar Album
By: DR Reviewer on 4 October 2016Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories is an album of colossal effort, estimated at costing over a million dollars, worked on across five studios, and having so many collaborators that it amounts to a musical orgy. The album has a reflective nature, looking back and drawing inspiration from a variety of influences clustered around the 70s and 80s, and so elements of funk, more traditional disco, and even bits of jazz find themselves expressed along with house and techno. Hell, the opening track ‘Give Life Back to Music’ starts with what could be the beginning of a power metal album. Being so diverse from start to finish, it’s hard to identify a recurrent voice of the album other than that variety, however, giving due credit to Daft Punk, it never comes across a mess. RAM’s biggest accomplishment, then, is tying it all together into a solid house album that has a little bit for everyone.
