“I felt like I was breaking a pattern of working with this LP. After several years of playing tight arrangements night after night, I wanted to find something different in the way I was playing and writing. Something more open to spontaneous interpretation basically. “ Ed Kuepper Today Wonder is the fourth solo album by Australian guitarist and songwriter Ed Kuepper. It was recorded by Kuepper and drummer Mark Dawson and released in 1990. The album features three of Ed’s best-known tunes; Everything I’ve Got Belongs To You, Horse Underwater and Eternally Yours. The album has been long out of print on vinyl and CD and has never been available on the streaming services. The CD and DSP editions come with seven bonus live tracks from a contemporaneous radio session in Holland. “In many ways this was the release that helped determine part (if not all) of Ed Kuepper's future work. Specifically, it's the way around close, quiet, but still tense and strong performances... The end result's a beauty of a record". Allmusic – four stars “Remarkable for the nature of the songs themselves, as Kuepper plumbed a personal honesty that most singer/songwriters wouldn't dare confront… nothing short or revelatory." Clinton Walker ...
