Bluegrass

Bluegrass is said to have originated in the United States Appalachian region around the 1940s with the band Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys but with later artist joining in and expanding the sound like Earl Scruggs and Lester Flatt with Bill Monroe himself defining the genre as "Scottish bagpipes and ole-time fiddlin'. The sound can be described as acoustic string instruments and an emphasizes on the off-beat
