'**LIMITED EDITION** Leonard Bernstein’s acclaimed 1980s cycle of Mahler’s symphonies, recorded with three orchestras themselves closely tied to the composer—the Concertgebouworkest, the New York Philharmonic, and the Wiener Philharmoniker—is for the first time presented as a complete set on vinyl; Symphonies Nos. 8 and 10 even seeing their very first international release on vinyl. Soloists include Barbara Hendricks (No. 2), Christa Ludwig (Nos. 2 & 3) and, among others, José van Dam (No. 8). This deluxe 16-LP limited and numbered edition presents the original Erté artwork, original plus new liner notes, and facsimiles of the recording documentation.
