JUNO is a band consisting of five young musicians who met at the prestigious Jazz Academy in Trondheim, Norway. Their catchy pop-jazz tunes combine complex grooves, rap, lyrical melodies and experimental improvisation, which gives the band a distinct and original sound.
'Myriad Path' is JUNO's many roads, where catchy chaos meets elaborate compositions in the band's known uncompromising style. The record is a biting and fiercer sequel to the debut album Young Star (Jazzland Recordings, 2020), when the band has now gone more conceptual and shows a darker side of JUNO than we have heard before.
The album ranges from dissonant sounds in the face of fierce drum grooves and explosive rap to big, dreamy pop choruses, floating improvisation and beautiful harmonies. Surrealism, caricatured over-the-top situations, vulnerability and inner turmoil create a zig-zag pattern of textual and musical unfolding, which incorporates the listener into JUNO's multifaceted reality.
On Myriad Path, the band members' individual voices come out even more clearly than before, and the music takes inspiration from, among others, the experimental and progressive Rock in Opposition scene, pop stars Charli XCX and Caroline Polacheck, hip-hop legends such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Kendrick Lamar, as well as the groundbreaking poet and musician Moor Mother.

Keith Urban-Flow State @ Tears for Fears-Songs fro
Sent In By: Debra on 21 August 2026I was very happy with my purchases both albums are great. I love Keith's album as he has recorded some old songs which are great and the new as well. Tears for Fears it was a great album which I did not have so decided to buy this as well. The people at discrepancy were very helpful as I had order one and the added the other and they were very accommodating. I have bought vinyl from them before and always been happy with my purchases.
