"Celebrating the 60th year of this landmark album. Includes bonus LP featuring 6 tracks never before available on vinyl".
The official Record Store Day website referred to the title of this release as "Mingus Ah Um Redux".
The statement about the bonus LP is incorrect, as C1 to C3 were previously available on vinyl on Nostalgia In Times Square / The Immortal 1959 Sessions (1979), and D1 to D3 were released on vinyl on The Complete 1959 CBS Charles Mingus Sessions (1993).

Charles Mingus ; Mingus Ah Um, One-Step Ultradisc
By: Stephen Chen on 16 November 2020This jazz recording from 1959 is one of my favourites; I have it on CD, & previously owned it on Japanese Sony, Columbia Legacy 180g & Music on Vinyl LP versions. I ordered this one in April of this year, before the price rise, & Discrepancy honoured the old price. I am aware production was halted because of CoVid, hence the delay. However, it was the worth the wait, the arrival coinciding with the return of my turntable from service, & my 60th birthday. The best sounding LP version I've heard of it, & I sold the other versions I previously owned. Sounds like a 15 ips half-track master tape, the the saxophone on track 2, Goodbye Pork Pie Hat is eerily real. Worth the money, even at the higher price, but sadly may be out of print when this review is published.

Queen II Deluxe Box Set
Sent In By: Peter on 13 April 2026Received parcel today containing the lp/cd version of the Queen II deluxe box set. Excellent packaging as always with the item being in perfect condition. The addition of an outer plastic cover that fits large box sets was very welcome. A master class in customer service which I always get from the team at Discrepancy. Regards. Peter (Sheffield)
