Wings

Wings

After releasing his first solo album, McCartney, in 1970, and a second with wife Linda (Ram), Paul McCartney formed the group Wings and continued his musical journey with albums such as Band On The Run, and Red Rose Speedway. He also found time to produce possibly the best Jame Bond song ever in "Live and let Die". McCartney included many Wings hits in his live performances, along side his Beatles classics.

Although there were many musicians who had brief residence in the Wings nest, ex-Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine was the most significant and most constant. To quote fictional DJ Alan Partridge, 'Wings were the band the Beatles could have become'. After he retired Wings, Sir Paul has continued as a songwriter and performer, as well as collaborating with such artists as Michael JacksonStevie Wonder and Hollywood Vampires

Our Recommendations: McCartneyRam, Band On The Run.
