I went to the Melbourne exhibition of David Bowie Is back in 2015 where this was an exclusive for $30. Because I went on the fourth day it had sold out and was already up on eBay at $300 a pop. In this day and age inflation on records has run rampant and sometimes out of control. Toward the end of 2018 prices on some of these were as high as a grand or even more which is shameful and shameful on any buyer who'd support such a sale by paying it. After all it's two tracks, that by most aren't even played in case it devalues the product. Limited to 500 copies although 550 is also another figure thrown about how is this piece so much money? If it were maybe two tracks only exclusive to this particular release maybe it would warrant a high price. But...if you're a Bowie nut and want all in the series of these David Bowie exhibition exclusives I guess you have to surrender sometimes. I made discrepancy an offer and they accepted which was already a winner for me. Second to that it was well packed, sent express and was indeed brand new. I've purchased this product in the past from other sellers stating mint condition only to receive it with split or scuffed sticker and splits to the plastic. Now because of this first very good transaction with discrepancy the buck hasn't stopped there and I can honestly say I've spent thousands in the space of a month. The staff/communications team are excellent too. Receive reply emails, updated tracking and invoices within 24 hours and sometimes have stuff sent off only a few hours after purchase. Now, for the item itself. For a two track single on phlegm coloured wax housed in a generic sleeve with sticker I honestly can only say save your money. It's not a necessity at all as you can access these tracks very easily and it's already on multiple other records/singles. If you're desperate there is google, YouTube, spotify, the radio to listen to it. It's a period of time too that fans regard as not his best period. If you haven't gone down that collector's avenue for the Bowie exclusives to the worldwide exhibitions tour so to speak I beg that you don't unless you're rich. Heathen VA release will set you back $500, Outside VA will set you back $400, lady stardust single $200 if you're lucky plus a dozen other pricey releases. I don't mean to detract sales from discrepancy, that isn't my intention at all and their business ethic itself is 10 out of 10. This product itself is not worth the money.
