It's not like I don't already have a few copies of the album! But I bit the bullet and ordered thru Discrepancy. Great price, super well packaged (as usual) and arrived in a timely and perfect manner. Glad I got it - it's a nice flat, quiet pressing! Thank you

Sent In By: Mark on 17 December 2024Unfortunately, my over 1,000 vinyl collection was destroyed in the fires that swept through NSW in 2020. One of my first tasks when my house was rebuilt was to invest in a stereo system and I gave great consideration to avoiding vinyl and simply go streaming - after all, I can always easily stream the music I wanted to listen to - and this was exactly what I did - to start with. After listening to streaming music for a few months I came to realise how much I missed the warmth of Vinyl's sound, the process of getting up and down to flip sides and change albums and the tactile and visual appeal of reading and absorbing album covers. So I began the process of rebuilding my collection, starting with getting the right equipment and then scouring the net for a supplier of vinyl who demonstrated a good range of artists, focussed on vinyl, had excellent delivery service and who was reasonably priced. I selected discrepancy and over the past six months or so, have been slowly building up my collection again, buying a handful of albums each month. I still have a long way to go to match my previous collection, some of which I can never replace, but the process has also afforded me the opportunity to be more selective with my purchases. Every time I buy albums from Discrepancy, they are delivered on time, or at least as fast as can be achieved as I tend to purchase a few in each 'batch' that need to be sourced from overseas, which the team at Discrepancy do for me. They arrive incredibly well packaged thus avoiding the terrors of public mail systems and they are reasonably priced. I have also purchased plastic sleeves and dust covers in order to reduce static and prevent the intrusion of contaminants. Discrepancy have been great and I'll keep using them as I climb ever so slowly back to my original collection. I still stream but the pleasure of playing vinyl remains, thank goodness.

I have never had a bad experience and every vinyl I have received from these guys have been perfect. It has always been such a nice gesture that they provide the protective sleeve to cover the vinyls when you purchase, but this literally saved my limited edition vinyl from getting absolutely destroyed in the rain (the post man left it on my front lawn). My vinyl was still in perfect condition due to the extra care put into every order, so this now be my first go-to for everything. Thank you ☺️
Best Vinyl Record Protection - Quality Sleeves

Bought some HIGH GRADE plastic outer sleeves for Vinyl LPs from Discrepancy and couldn't be happier. They are as good as any of the sleeves I used to purchase many years ago. It was a big packet as it has 4 albums and the delivery and package was sublime again. It even came with a protection sleeve which was great as I didn't have protection sleeves for this big size albums. Thanks again team and have a great festive season.

Their selection is impressive and their customer support is always awesome. However, I recently purchased an RSD double LP, which wasn’t cheap. While the LP itself was in great condition, I was surprised and a bit disappointed to find only one inner sleeve included instead of two. For a double LP, it just makes sense to provide two sleeves and I’m not sure why that wasn’t the case. That said, this is the first time I’ve encountered an issue and it doesn’t overshadow how great this store is. I highly recommend Discrepancy Records for any vinyl collector!
